One of the greatest tests of faith is not suffering alone.
It is waiting.

Waiting stretches:

• patience
• trust
• endurance
• perspective
• obedience

Many believers remain faithful when answers come quickly.
But long delays often expose:

• fear
• frustration
• doubt
• discouragement
• impatience

Yet throughout Scripture, many of God’s people endured long seasons before promises were fulfilled.

Delay does not always mean denial.

1. Waiting Reveals What We Trust Most

Delays often expose hidden fears and misplaced dependence.

When answers seem slow, people may become tempted to:

• force outcomes
• abandon discipline
• compromise convictions
• trust emotions over truth

But Scripture teaches:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart…”

4. God Often Works While Nothing Appears Visible

Seeds grow underground before fruit appears visibly.

Likewise, God often works:

• beyond immediate perception

Believers sometimes assume inactivity simply because visible evidence has not appeared yet.

Father,
Help me trust You even when answers seem delayed.
